Located off Waters Avenue between just south of Derenne Avenue and Waters Avenue, the location is central. Both Candler Hospital and Memorial Medical University Hospitals are conveniently located just minutes away. I-16 is under 5 minutes away and since the Truman Pkwy is just down the street you can be on the southside or downtown historic Savannah in minutes. Home prices typically range from the mid 100s to the mid 200s.
Homes in the Fairway Oaks community were mostly built in the 1950s and have hardwood floors and are brick construction. Many lot sizes are quite large and the neighborhood is full of mature trees and landscaping. The popular Bacon Park Golf Course is adjacent to Fairway Oaks and some homes back up to the golf course, making this midtown community a favorite for golfers.
